EMS boys repeat as conference champions; girls place third
WELLSVILLE – The Elsberry Middle School boys knew they would need to be on top of their game to repeat as Eastern Missouri Conference cross country champions at the meet at Wellsville on September 22. With four runners taking home medals, this talented and dedicated squad from our town narrowly defeated the always-excellent Bowling Green team to earn another conference championship in the eleven-member EMO Conference.
