Waste Water Plant Construction Begins
ELSBERRY - After 10 years in the making, the City of Elsberry will have a new wastewater treatment facility in about 14 months, right next to the old one. The new plant will handle up to 336,000 gallons per day and have state of the art technology in place to handle the city’s needs.

Elsberry Hosts 8th Grade Promotion
Elsberry Middle School held their annual eighth grade promotion during the final week of school. Fifty-six students have advanced in their academic achievements to be able to walk the halls of EHS next school year.

Elsberry Legion Conducts Annual Memorial Day Services
While many enjoy the Memorial Day Weekend with an extra day off, others honor the reason for the day. For many years the Elsberry American Legion Post 226 units spend Memorial Day traveling to and from 11 different locations around the county to show not only their pride of what the American Flag stands for, but honor the courage and sacrifice of the heroes of this country.

Another record toppled
This track season for the Elsberry High School team members has been nothing short of amazing, definitely one for the books or should we say the wall. Yet another record was broken recently, this time by senior Anna Talbot in the long jump.

Seniors Honored at Annual Awards, Scholarship Night
Elsberry High School held their annual senior awards and scholarship night for the Class of 2025 on Tuesday, May 13 in front of family and friends.

Elsberry Graduates 58 Seniors
Fifty-eight members of the Class of 2025 at Elsberry High School walked across the stage on Sunday afternoon to receive their diploma from members of the school board.
