HS varsity boys soccer season kicks off
ELSBERRY - Last week marked the beginning of the high school varsity boys soccer season and the team is off to a challenging start with two away games. The boys played their first match Tuesday in Mexico, followed by a game Thursday against Southern Boone, both of which are Class 2 schools.

EHS cross country begins 2025 campaign
COLUMBIA - The Elsberry HS varsity cross country teams were in Columbia to compete in the 2025 COMO Kick-off Aug. 30.

ELSBERRY - The Elsberry community said goodbye to one of their own this past Sunday, with the passing of Marc Hill. Hill is the only Elsberry High School graduate to ever play in the major leagues.

ELSBERRY - As consumers it is nice to have a choice about the various companies providing services. Rise Broadband is now servicing the Elsberry Community after acquiring Yondoo Broadband in November of 2024.

ELSBERRY/SILEX - As expected, the top girls' soccer team in Missouri produced not only the top player, but top coach in 2025.

Mauzy finishes third at state golf
For the second straight year, Elsberry High School golf player, Rex Mauzy, was able to compete in the Class 2 state tournament in May. Just a sophomore, Mauzy has been chasing the title for the last two years, placing third for a second straight year.
