Mauzy Qualifies Again for State Golf
For the second year in a row, Elsberry sophomore Rex Mauzy, is headed to compete in State Golf.
Elsberry Wax Museum
Half the fun of reading, fiction or nonfiction is being able to pretend you are the person in the story. Last week, the fifth grade students at Elsberry Middle School created a wax museum of their favorite book characters that they have read about.
Elsberry-Silex Soccer Blanks Veritas Christian
The Elsberry-Silex girls’ soccer team just keeps on setting records this season. Going into their game on Monday the team was sitting top the rankings in Class 1 in the state.
Elsberry Competes in Conference Track Meet
Elsberry track team continued their individual success last week at the Eastern Missouri Conference meet, that includes 11 schools, Bowling Green, Clopton, Louisiana, Mark Twain, Montgomery, North Callaway, Silex, Van-Far, Wellsville-Middletown, and Wright City. The boys team took third place, just five points behind second place in a touch EMO conference.

ELSBERRY - For the second time this season an Elsberry High School track harrier has broken a record that has stood on the wall since the 1960’s.

ELSBERRY - Elsberry High School golf team put on quit a show at the East Missouri Conference (EMO) golf match on Monday at Innsbrook Golf course and hosted by Wright City High School. The top individual was none other than Elsberry’s sophomore stand out, Rex Mauzy.

Elsberry-Silex Soccer Ranked No. 3 in State
ELSBERRY - In what's being described as the greatest season in school history, the Elsberry-Silex girls soccer recently made a name for themselves as the team was ranked third in Class 1 Missouri Soccer Power Ratings. Coach Chris White had this to say about the recent announcement, “I am so proud of these girls! Coming from two different schools, getting to know each other and becoming friends/teammates.
Steele Sets Strikeout Record
UNION - Addyson Steele, a 2023 graduate of Elsberry High School and softball standout continued not only her education at East Central Community College in Union, but her softball career at the DII NJCAA college. As an EHS Diamond Lady Indian, Steele was dominating on the mound tallying over 425 strikeouts in high school and instrumental in the success of the team, and has been equally dominating at the next level Last week at an ECC game, Steele broke the school career strikeout record that has stood since 2006.
