Elsberry Gourmet Club marks 32 years of good food, friendships
ELSBERRY - What started as a group of six ladies who enjoyed cooking, has now literally become a lifelong friendship, almost 32 years later.

County sex offender list boasts 98.5% compliance
TROY - For Craig Cross, the details of his job are significant and the weight of it is enormous, something he takes very seriously, all for the sake of safety. As the Lincoln County Sex Offender Registrar, he is responsible for helping facilitate sex offender registrations in the county.In fact, Cross says the sex offender registry in Lincoln County “works well” and The Sex Offender Compliance Unit “expertly manages 200-plus offenders and has a 98.5 compliancy rate.” In part, that is due to effective communication with other counties and tipsters within the Lincoln County community.

ELSBERRY - Children attended the second in the series of the Summer Reading Program at Palmer Library last Saturday putting color to nature. Librarian Amie Harris read two stories about flowers to the children, before putting their artistic vibes to work.
