Nativity Set Collections Displayed at UMC
ELSBERRY - Traditionally on the first Saturday of December the women of the Elsberry United Methodist Church hold a smorgasbord fit for a king, but sometimes change is good. This year a Nativity display was organized and set up in the church hall. Individuals from the community were invited to bring in their treasures telling the story of Christ's birth and reminding us all the reason for the season. Sets were made out of ceramic, plastic, metal, and even paper. By all accounts it was a huge success, with almost 100 sets on display for people to view.
