Traffic Accident involves Elsberry Business Man
ELSBERRY - On Saturday afternoon at approximately 3:25 p.m. on US 61 at Route B, Elsberry businessman Michael Hartley, Sr was seriously involved in a car accident according to family members. The MSHP crash report shows that Hartley, driving a 2001 sterling truck L7500 was traveling eastbound on the crossover at the junction and a second vehicle was traveling northbound on US 61. Hartley failed to yield and the front of a 2016 Lincoln that was northbound struck the front passenger side of his vehicle. Hartley and a couple in their 70's from St. Joseph, MO were all transported to Mercy in St. Louis by Lincoln County Ambulance.
