ELSBERRY - The book is closed on the first 34 years of the Palmer Library with the retirement of Sarah Hunt after being the head librarian since it opened. Turning the pages now is lifelong Elsberry resident Amie Harris. "I know I have some big shoes to fill", said Harris, "but I am excited and ready for the challenge." What Hunt has done at the library can't be matched, but Harris hopes to continue all the wonderful things Hunt has done and add some new stuff of her own.
