An Elsberry woman was seriously injured Wednesday evening when she lost control of her vehicle in Lincoln County, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The accident occurred Nov. 6 at 6:55 p.m. on Route C east of Zigl-Migl Road.
The Patrol reported a 2002 Ford Taurus driven by Pamela Ferguson, 42, of Elsberry, was traveling east on Route C and crossed the centerline. When she over corrected, the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, overturned several times, ejecting her from the vehicle.
Ferguson was airlifted by Air Evac Lifeteam to Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur.
Then at 5:25 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 11, Missouri Highway Patrol responded to an overturned vehicle on Hwy. 79, just north of Elsberry. According to the report, Travis Fessler, 26, of Foley, was traveling southbound when he crossed over the center line and off the roadway, causing his 2007 Dodge Ram to travel off the embankment and overturn.
Fessler was transported by Pike County Ambulance to St. Joseph West Hospital and listed with moderate injuries.
