On May 16, 2014 three young individuals went to the Missouri Agriscience Fair in Columbia, Missouri.
These three individuals were Kaylee Calvin, Josie Shanahan, and Alex Boedeker.
A few months prior to the agriscience fair these individuals were given the task of researching, constructing and conducting an agriscience project.
This was a harder task than most had realized.
It’s not like they could just walk up and pull an experiment out of an old hat.
The agriscience projects needed to be something that the students truly felt passionate about and wanted to get true results from.
After multiple days of throwing ideas around and changing their minds constantly each student had come across one experiment that they were ready to conduct.
