Landscaping at the Elsberry United Methodist Church was made a little easier on April 10 with the assistance of the Lincoln County Second Chance Work Brigade.
The group, formerly known as the Lincoln County Second Chance Choir, has shifted its focus now that the weather is allowing for other types of community service.
So far this spring they have assisted with outdoor projects in Troy and Moscow Mills.
The mulching job at the Methodist Church was the group’s first project in Elsberry.
The brigade also trimmed hedges and cut down some trees.
