Rock’n River 4-H and Clover Kids celebrate National 4-H Week

Posted on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 12:10 pm

This week (Oct. 7-13) is National 4-H Week and all county 4-H groups are encouraged to create a window display in the community celebrating.

This year’s theme “Grow True Leaders” is represented in Adam Heitman’s Shelter Insurance business window by Elsberry’s group.

Elsberry’s Rock’n River 4-H and Clover Kids group is going on their second year in existence. At the September meeting, the Clover Kids, as well as the older members, decorated paper sunflowers and wrote their name on clovers. These were combined with each member’s picture to make a garden.

The Clover Kids also glued cotton balls to paper to make the clouds.

A big thanks goes to Clover Kids parents, Erin Black and Melissa Franke, along with Lacy Vandivort, club leader who helped pull everything together.
