PBR Products an American company in Elsberry and proud of it

Lifelong Elsberry resident Jeff Waggoner and his wife, Theresa opened PBR Products in 2013 and have grown and grown and grown in products offered and building space.

Waggoner who drove stock cars from 1989-2003 needed parts for his car and gained knowledge in metal fabrication. He took that knowledge and opened PBR Products.

A business that has grown to include a large selection of customized items for golf carts, jeeps, ATV’s and UTV’s.

The expansion of the business started as a fluke for the Waggoner’s. Jeff had purchased an EZ GO Marathon cart at a storage auction and wanted to fix it up. He started making patterns off of the Marathon, offering them for purchase. Progressing to Yamaha and Club Car Lines, and several types of vehicles.

The items offered feature diamond plate aluminum and some in a black powder coat finish. Some items produced are rocker panels, full floorboards, front bumpers and access covers.

“If there is a product you would like to enhance your motorized item with, PBR can design and produce it,” said Waggoner.

The business started in a building owned by Waggoner’s dad, Charlie Waggoner. After outgrowing that building, they built a building by their house to manufacture their products. In March of this year, PBR moved into a brand new, their third building, and hopefully last location at 960 Highway B.

PBR is taking a unique approach to manufacturing and supplying its customers with products. The Waggoner’s are striving to purchase everything from equipment to boxes from US manufactures.

Jeff said, “We are proud to be an American company and we try to support others.”

While the Waggoner’s are busy making the accessories, Jeff’s daughter, Brandy Davis is the office manager and handles all orders, including internet sales. Her duties also included managing advertising. Currently, PBR is averaging 45 orders a day that need to be made, packed and shipped worldwide.

Davis said, “We strive to get our product out as soon as possible and in most cases shipped the same day.”

Business hours are 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. if you would also like to stop by. Their products are also available for purchase on EBay and Amazon. Recently, the business added a hub for FedEx pick up if this service is needed by local residents.
