The Elsberry Boys Basketball Team took home first place in the 85th Annual
Bowling Green Invitational Tournament this past weekend.
It was the Indians' first tournament championship win since 2006, where they
won the Lutheran Tournament. It was also their first Bowling Green
Invitational championship victory since 2002-2003.
Coach Ryan Parker said it was "a big win for our program."
The Indians began tournament play with a 49-40 victory over Clopton. Coach
Parker admitted that although the team wasn't at their best this night, they
found a way to pull off the victory.
