Minor to moderate injuries occur in two-car collision

A two-vehicle crash was reported at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 22, resulting in minor to moderate injuries.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Crash report the accident occurred Eastbound on Hwy. 47 East of South Ridge Road.

car-accidentA 1993 Chevy 1500, driven by Bryan Schultz, 16, of Troy was executing a right turn onto Hwy. 47 when he traveled into the path of a 2013 GMC Terrain, driven by Warren Lindesy, 67 of Winfield.

On impact the Terrain struck the front of the 1500 causing the vehicle to overturn.

Schultz and a passenger Jacob Weisheyer, 16, of Winfield were transported to St. Joseph Hospital West at Lake Saint Louis by parent with minor injuries.

Lindsey along with a passenger, Mary Lindsey, 68 of Winfield was also transported to St. Joseph Hospital West by ambulance. Warren suffered moderate injuries and Mary had minor injuries.

According to the report everyone was wearing their safety devices.
