Sam Marre, president of the Elsberry FFA Chapter, has been selected as a state officer for the Missouri FFA Chapter.
Marre was nominated for this position by the Area 5 FFA Association following her interview on March 18.
“To my knowledge Sam is the first state officer from Elsberry since Wayne Lovelace,” said Elsberry FFA Advisor Jason Vandivort.
Marre will now face a series of interviews at the FFA State Convention on April 24 and 25.
Those interviews will determine exactly which state office she will receive.
Once she is awarded her specific office, Marre will be representing not only the Elsberry FFA Chapter, but also all 17 local FFA chapters that comprise Area 5.
