U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-03) recently received the “Champion of Healthcare Innovation” award for his support of patient-centered medical progress.

“I am proud to receive the “Champion of Healthcare Innovation” award that recognizes my support of common-sense, patient-centered bills in Congress and my opposition to the president’s health-care law,” said Luetkemeyer (above at right). “It is clear and simple: Americans do not want more government interference with their daily health decisions. Doctors and patients, not government bureaucrats, should make health care decisions. I will continue to support innovative solutions that will enhance our nation’s health-care system to make access easier and less costly.”
