Recently a fundraiser organized by Ann Marshall, the owner of the Dawg house and Irene Hausgen, was held for the benefit of The Lincoln County Cupboard. The patrons and local merchants all came together and those who attended brought non perishable items, as well as, bought chili and sandwiches with the entire proceeds going to the event. “The Wright Music” (Victor Wright) and “Concrete Alibi” (Dane Galloway the band’s drummer) contributed the music for a great night of dancing and fun. The contribution from that evening’s event was approximately $1400.00. “Ann has sponsored numerous other fundraising events for the benefit of our community and residents,” said Cecille Mesker. “She and the others are truly heroes.”
