Tanya Morris, daughter of Louis B. and the late Debbie Morris of Elsberry, was united in marriage Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017 to Shawn Fox, son of Paul and Linda Fox, and the late Barbie Fox of Moscow Mills.
The ceremony took place at Foley Baptist Church, officiated by a friend of the couple, Bobby Roskowske. Another friend of the couple, Christopher Dickmeyer, played piano.
The bride chose an empire waist satin gown, with lace cap sleeves and beaded detailing. Her two long-time friends, Vickie Briscoe and Kera Mashek, served as maid and matron of honor and wore floor length sheer gowns in eggplant purple, adorned with crystal brooches. The ladies carried hand-tied bouquets of white daisies.
The groom was accompanied by his brother, Brian Fox and friend Mike Scott. The men wore solid black suits with silver ties and handkerchiefs.
The couple’s two children, Colton Matthew and Carter Xavier, served as ring bearers.
During the ceremony, the couple honored their late mothers with special memorial candles and photos. The church was filled with many close family members and friends.
The newlyweds celebrated their marriage with a reception at the Old Monroe Knights of Columbus Hall.
They now make their home with their two sons in Moscow Mills.
