On Monday, July 30, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit received a community tip that an apartment off the 100 block of East Avenue, in Winfield, was actively distributing illegal narcotics.

Detectives arrived at the apartment and observed Megan Keen, 28, of Wentzville, sitting in a parked vehicle with her two-year-old son talking to Mathieu Hose, 37, of Winfield. Detectives spoke with Keen who stated she had three used syringes and methamphetamine inside of her purse.
Hose gave detectives consent to search his clothing where they found a glass vial containing meth. Hose told investigators Zachary Johnson, 37, of Winfield, stays at the apartment and sells meth out of it.

Detectives knocked on the door and could smell marijuana coming from the apartment. Detectives secured Johnson and homeowner/renter Heather Hinnah, 38, of Winfield, outside the apartment. Hinnah gave consent for detectives to search the residence for narcotics.
