Elsberry Indians take a ‘roller coaster’ ride with a two game wining streak

Caleb Eisenbath, as shown above, has become a asset to the Elsberry team, after not playing for two-years prior, according to Head Coach Ryan Parker.

The Indians have found themselves on a two game winning streak as they defeated the Orchard Farm Eagles, 46-40, on Friday, Jan. 11 and then the Silex Owls, 58-49, on Monday, Jan. 14

“Anytime we go down to Orchard, it’s a tough place to play,” said Indians Head Coach Ryan Parker. “It doesn’t matter if they’re having a great season, an OK season or even a bad season. It’s just a win on the road is one thing, but winning down there is a little different because it’s just always been tough.”

Parker went on to say the big thing for them against Orchard Farm was their ability to share the ball and the contributions by other players on the team. Although he said he doesn’t feel as though they played great, he does feel as though they played well.
