Less than three days before the 12th Annual Classics on Wheels Car Show and Elsberry R-II School District Fall Festival will be held.
This year the annual Car Show and Festival will be taking place Saturday, Oct. 6 in the Elsberry City Park. Sponsoring the Car Show will be The City of Elsberry with assistance from the Elsberry Kiwanis and the Elsberry Masons. Handling the Fall Festival is EHS.
There will be food, crafts, entertainment and of course “Classic Cars.”
Music will be provided once again by Marty Enterprises.
Car registration will begin at 9 a.m. and end at noon. There is a $15 per car registration fee. Participant judging will take place from noon to 2 p.m. and the trophies will be handed out at 2:45 p.m.
Any vendor wishing to set up a booth during the Car Show can contact Marleen Frein by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 573-898-2099. Cost for a booth is $25 and pre-registation must be completed. (There is only a few areas with an electrical outlet, so first come, first serve.)

Following the trophy presentation the annual Fall Festival parade will begin at 4 p.m. followed by the Fall Festival Coronation crowning in the Elsberry City Park. The coronation will be held right after the parade in the city park at the pavilion. This of course introduces the couples from each grade and then the high school students. The high school students then chose the royalty from those four classes.
This years theme for the parade is Dr. Suess “The Places You’ll Go”.

The Elsberry FBLA will sponsor a Fall Festival Dance for grades 7-12. The dance is on Oct. 6, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The dance will be held in the elementary gym. The fee is nominal and there will be concessions available for purchase.
