The Elsberry School District is implementing a random drug testing program for all students in grades 7-12 who represent the school in activities or obtain a parking pass.
Students who plan to participate in activities or park on school property must enter the drug testing pool.
The first opportunity to enter the drug testing pool will be on August 8 from 8 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Elsberry High School.
Students are responsible for the cost [$25.00] of the initial test and checks should be made payable to the Elsberry R-II School District.
Students who are unable to complete the test on August 8 will still be eligible as long as they complete the drug testing form.
Those students will be tested during the school day in September during the first round of random tests.
There will be a parent information meeting about the drug testing program on August 5 at 7:00 p.m. in the school cafeteria.
