Logan Anthony, 2017 Elsberry High School graduate, was among the new members and 2018-2019 officers inducted into Chapter 378 of Phi Eta Sigma national honor society for academic excellence at McKendree University on April 26.
Anthony, a chemistry pre-professional major was inducted as a new member.
Phi Eta Sigma is the nation’s oldest and largest multi-disciplinary honor society for first-year college and university students. Students may qualify in the first or second semester of their first year. The ceremony was held as part of McKendree University’s fifth annual Academic Excellence Celebration.
McKendree University is a College of Distinction, among “America’s 100 Best College Buys,” and recognized as a “Military Friendly School” by Victory Media. Founded in 1828, the historic Lebanon, IL, campus is 25 miles from St. Louis. McKendree also has a campus in Radcliff, KY, and offers programs online and at nearby Scott Air Force Base, IL.
