    Elsberry senior Tanner Bencomo’s skill and versatility on the softball field this year have not gone unnoticed.     The Missouri State High School Activities Association hosted the Missouri State High School Cross Country Championships in Jefferson City last Saturday. Despite a strong gusting winds and chilly conditions, the states finest harriers put up some impressive runs.   • Post #226 gets a visit from the “White Rat”

    Elsberry’s American Legion Post #226 baseball field may soon be sporting a much different look thanks to a large donation from The Whitey Herzog Youth Foundation. Joe Pott [above] said the money will be used to help pay for improvements to the fence, a new warning track and a new pitcher’s mound in the visitor’s area.

  • Middle School IndianHawks finish season undefeated

    Members of the 2014 Clopton/Elsberry Middle School IndianHawks Team. The team went undefeated this year for the first time in the program’s history.
