Weather making golf a challenge for Elsberry

Despite the wet weather that Elsberry and the surrounding areas have been experiencing lately, the Indians have managed to get in two more golf meets this season. The first took place at Montgomery City where Elsberry posted a team score of 179, edging out the Wildcats who received an overall score of 200.   • Practice is officially over for Elsberry Track and Field teams

  • Track and Field competes in practice meet at Orchard Farm

    The Elsberry Track and Field teams participated in their second practice meet of 2014 at Orchard Farm on April 1. For the girls, Madison Cleveland took fourth place in the shot put event with a throw of 24’. Cleveland also took first in the girl’s discus event with a throw of 88’6”.     Southpaw Josh Phillips got the honor of being named the opening day starter for Head Coach Dustin Robinson's Elsberry Indians.

    Despite some frigid temperatures Head Coach Dustin Robinson and his varsity baseball team kicked off the start of their 2014 season on March 26 with a 5 p.m. home game against Palmyra.     Track and Field Coach Scott Cleveland said this year he faces a rebuild for his boys team.
