Senate Theater hosts Star Wars marathon

Elsberry’s Senate Theatre hosted a Star Wars marathon the weekend of Aug. 30-31. All six of the blockbuster films were shown during the course of the two-day marathon. On Saturday, movie goers were treated to “The Phantom Menace”, “Attack of the Clones” and “Revenge of the Sith”. DeGeares hold fourth annual “Haunted Hayride”

On Oct. 17-18 Elsberry resident Chris Degeare and his family hosted their fourth annual “Haunted Hayride” on their property at 1205 Page branch Road in Elsberry. The ride was originally scheduled to take place on Oct. 10-11 but was rescheduled due to inclement weather. The DeGeare family began the hayride four years ago as a family event but they enjoyed it so much that they opened it to the public

    On Oct. 18 Forrest Keeling Nursery in Elsberry celebrated its fourth annual “Great River Road Chestnut Roast”.
