Senate Theater hosts Star Wars marathon

Elsberry’s Senate Theatre hosted a Star Wars marathon the weekend of Aug. 30-31. All six of the blockbuster films were shown during the course of the two-day marathon. On Saturday, movie goers were treated to “The Phantom Menace”, “Attack of the Clones” and “Revenge of the Sith”.     The last Sunday evening of every month, take a trip up north Hwy. 79 through Elsberry and allow yourself to be taken back-in-time as Cadillac Bills holds their monthly Car Cruise.     On Aug. 23 the Elsberry Historic Preservation Society [E.H.P.S.] held its annual dinner/fundraiser in the parish hall of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsberry.
