Senate Theater hosts Star Wars marathon

Elsberry’s Senate Theatre hosted a Star Wars marathon the weekend of Aug. 30-31. All six of the blockbuster films were shown during the course of the two-day marathon. On Saturday, movie goers were treated to “The Phantom Menace”, “Attack of the Clones” and “Revenge of the Sith”.     The last Sunday evening of every month, take a trip up north Hwy. 79 through Elsberry and allow yourself to be taken back-in-time as Cadillac Bills holds their monthly Car Cruise. Cookie Walk raises money for Catherine Jeans Memorial Scholarship Fund

On Dec. 6 Elsberry residents participated in the annual cookie walk to benefit the Catherine Jeans Memorial Scholarship Fund. Catherine, the daughter of Lance and Jeanie Jeans of Troy, lost her battle with cancer a number of years ago.   • NECAC Hunger Banquet demonstrated the impact of hunger in Lincoln County

    On Nov. 10, NECAC hosted a banquet to benefit the Bread For Life Food Pantry and the Lincoln County Cupboard. Pictured above of some of the various guests in attendance that night.

    The Lincoln County Council on Aging was the site of a very special banquet on Nov. 10.
