EHS students perform at annual Christmas Concert

On Dec. 9 band and choir students at Elsberry High School hosted their annual Christmas Concert in the high school gym. Led by Band and Choir Director Rebecca Shroyer, the EHS jazz band [top], the high school choir [middle] and the concert band all performed various holiday favorites, as well as some newer, more contemporary numbers for the parents, teachers and guests in attendance.

  • Cookie Walk raises money for Catherine Jeans Memorial Scholarship Fund

    On Dec. 6 Elsberry residents participated in the annual cookie walk to benefit the Catherine Jeans Memorial Scholarship Fund. Catherine, the daughter of Lance and Jeanie Jeans of Troy, lost her battle with cancer a number of years ago.   • NECAC Hunger Banquet demonstrated the impact of hunger in Lincoln County

    On Nov. 10, NECAC hosted a banquet to benefit the Bread For Life Food Pantry and the Lincoln County Cupboard. Pictured above of some of the various guests in attendance that night.
