Paramedics of Lincoln County to hold inaugural clay shoot June 6

The Paramedics of Lincoln County are hosting a clay shoot on June 6 at Blackhawk Valley Hunting Preserve located at 1259 Brevator Rd. in Old Monroe. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with a 9:00 a.m. start time. This is the inaugural clay shoot for the Paramedics of Lincoln County. Their hopes are to make this a yearly event.   • “Circle of Friends” and “Jerry Byrd & Friends” to perform in LaCrosse Park

    Earliest Male Graduate Dick Whiteside

    The Elsberry High School Gymnasium was the scene of much reminiscing as former graduates gathered on May 2 for the annual EHS Alumni Banquet. Alumni President Megan Heitman-Pratt welcomed all of the assembled guests and then recognized the earliest male and female graduates. That honor went to Dick Whiteside and Gracie Hill. Special recognition was also directed toward the graduate who had traveled the greatest distance to attend the banquet.
