  • Old Glory Jubilee Committee brings “Quarter Auction” back to Elsberry

    Due to the success of last year’s event, the members of the Old Glory Jubilee Committee have decided to host a second “Quarter Auction” in the Elsberry High School Gymnasium on April 18. Proceeds from the event will help fund the anticipated return of the Old Glory Jubilee Celebration to Elsberry on July 4, 2015. Pictured above are some of those Elsberry residents who participated in the November, 2014 auction.

  • Elsberry fifth grade students host annual Wax Museum

    On March 27 Elsberry’s fifth grade students got the chance to come to school as someone else. At least for a little while. The occasion was the 2015 EMS Was Museum, held throughout the school day and then again in the evening for the benefit of parents and other family members. “The fifth graders bean to prepare for the wax museum in January,” said Elsberry Middle School Teacher Rebecca Spegal.

  • Post 226 hosts annual Easter Egg Hunt

    The Elsberry American Legion Post 226 held its annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 5. Numerous children ages 0-10 spent the afternoon visiting with the Easter Bunny and searching the grass around the Legion Hall in pursuit of all the eggs they could find. Pictured are some of those children.

  • “Flame” takes center stage at Elsberry for 2015 FCA concert

    On April 3 the EHS Chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes [FCA] brought Christian Rap Artist “Flame” to Elsberry.
