Indians lose tough battle with Warriors on the road

    Elsberry’s Tanner Bencomo [wearing number 10] scored 20 points to lead her team to victory against Wright City on Dec. 15. In addition to Bencomo’s offensive performance, every Lady Indian player managed to put points on the board in the first home game of the season for Elsberry.

With the number one seed at Districts locked up the Elsberry Lady Indians headed to Montgomery County on Saturday to take part in the first annual EMO Conference Softball Tournament. After the dust cleared Elsberry captured a second place finish propelling them into the playoffs this week. “The weekend was very successful overall.     For the third straight game the Elsberry Lady Indians offense was shutdown 7-0 Monday night against “Softball Powerhouse” Palmyra Lady Panthers in Elsberry.   • Indians seeded 1st as they enter District Baseball

    Indians get number one seed as they look to enter Districts on Saturday, May 12 at 10 a.m. in Monroe City, with their first game against Van Far. If they win there they will play again on Monday, May 14 at 4:30 p.m. Following a victory there they will head into the championship game on Wednesday, May 16 at 5 p.m.   District 7 Tournament Bracket
