It’s that time of year again when the Clopton/Elsberry Youth Football Board is asking for support as they host their annual “Football Lucky” fundraising event.

The event starts at 6 p.m. on Oct. 19 in the Elsberry American Legion Hall and will once again be a bingo night with winners receiving baskets of goodies and additional prizes. They will also be offering other small games during the event, as this annual fundraiser has proven to be a successful opportunity for the continued success in the youth football program.

The board is asking that community residents and businesses to help donate items for prizes. Ideas for donations may include baskets of products, gift certificates, business logo items and monetary donations.

“We encourage you to include any contact information, as this is a great was to market your business while showing your support for the kids,” stated the Youth Football Board and Players. “We want to thank everyone in advance for their help and donations.”

Funds earned will support the continuation of the IndianHawk Youth Football Program. Tax deductible donations can be sent to either P.O. Box 102 in Eolia, 63344 or to Travis Dalrymple at 33903 Hwy. H in Annada, 63330. They can also be sent to Butch Wolanski at 130 Ethan Drive in Elsberry, 63343. The IndianHawk Youth Football Program is a registered 501(c) 3 through the American Youth Football League.
