It was another successful year for the Elsberry Classics on Wheels Car Show, now in it’s 13th year.
Although the weather played it’s part in keeping some cars away, it did not stop people from coming out, enjoying and voting on some the classiest cars around.
In the 30’s class first place went to Arnold Badgett, for his black 1933 Willys Coupe.
For the 40’s class first place went to Dan and Chris Dildine, for their 1940 royal plum Ford Deluxe Sedan.
In the 50’s Class first place went to Marvin Cooke, for his 1954 blue Kaiser Manhattan. Second place winner went to Tim and Judy Clay, for their 1957 Coronodo yellow and India ivory four door, hard top Chevy. Third place winner went to Bill Alvord, for his 1955 India ivory dusk rose, Bel-Air Chevy and he was also Mayors Choice.
For the 60’s class first place winner went to Gary Grasshoff, for his 1967 red Camero Rally Sport (RS) Chevy he also won Jack Patterson Memorial Best of Show. Second place winner went to Ray Ruebling, for his 1966 red Impala SS Chevy. Third place winner went to Kim Brutsman, for her 1967 black and white stripe RS Camero.
The 70’s class first place winner went to Rich Ceglinski, for his 1976 white Monte Carlo Chevy. Second place winner went to Lisa Avery, for her 1972 Hemi Orange Scamp Plymouth.
As for the 80’s class first place winner went to Ernie Potts, for his 1981 polar white Buick Rivera.
For the 90’s class first place winner went to Burt Pennington, for his 1999 black and red Ford sport. Second place winner was Jesse Johnson, for his 1998 arctic white Chevy Camero. Third place went to Dane Housewright, for his 1995 silver Chevy Camero.
In the Special Interest class first place winner went to Chrissy Housewright, for her 1967 red Corona Toyota.
For the Tractor class first place winner went to Travis Fessler, for his 1943 red Farmall.
As for the Street Rod class first place winner went to Loyd Groshong, for his 1932 maroon PB Coupe Plymouth.
In the Mustang class first place winner went to Brigitte Steavenson, for her 1966 red Ford Mustang GT. Second place winner went to Jerry Grimmer, for his 1989 black Mustang LX Convertible. Third place winner went to Michael McCallister, 1969 black Mustang.
For the Truck Class first place winner went to Tom Shoemaker Sr., for his 1939 brewster green Chevrolet Pick-Up Truck. Second place winner went to Brandon Martin, for his 1968 Blue C-10 Chevy. Third place winner went to Mark W. Carey, for his 2006 red and gray Ranger FX4 Ford.
People’s Choice winner was Kevin Paris, for his 1990 red B2200 4×4 Mazda.
Hoola Hoop winners were: (12 and under) Leora Marshal – third place; Faith Hammond – second place and Isabel Bayless – first place. (13 and up) Emma Housewright – third place; Leslie Martin – second place and Cara Marty – first place.
