‘Making the grade’ – introducing the new Elsberry R-II teachers
As the start of school quickly approaches, new teachers and faculty members met for orientation on Monday, Aug. 12 in the Elsberry R-II High School Library. They would spend the next three day’s going over policy and procedures, filling out paper work and getting to know the school.
Shown above, starting in the front row and going left to right is Kyle Hagan, who has been an educator for eight years will be the new high school special eduction teacher; Chris Tiller, who is just entering his first year as an educator will be the seventh and eighth grade social studies teacher; Matthew Easley, a tenth year educator will be teaching high school social studies and Aaron Johnson, a fourth year educator will teach middle school and high school physical education and is also the offensive coach for the Clopton/Elsberry IndianHawks.
Back row, from left to right is Kristen Sadler, a third year educator will be assisting in middle school special education; Holly Duvall, who is in her fourth year as an eductor will be teaching the second grade; Dawn Mullins, a 14-year educator will be teaching special eduction for grades fifth through 12; Samantha Lollar, a five year educator will be teaching Pre-K; Rebecca Spegal, a first year educator, will be teaching the fifth grade; Crystal Jordan, also a first year educator, will be teaching the first grade; Natasha Head, who has nine years as an educator, will be teaching high school arts; Emily Huber, a first year educator, will be teaching the third grade and Kalli Robertson, also a first year educator, will be teaching special eduction for grades kindergarten through fourth grade.
School is set to begin on Monday, Aug. 19.
