Page Branch Park gets a playful upgrade

Over the weekend of June 21, the City of Elsberry and the Page Branch Park Committee were happy to unveil the completion of the new playground equipment installed at the park.

Funding was provided by a grant from the East Central Solid Waste Management District, who paid for 75 percent and a $2,000 grant from the MFA Foundation, which was applied to the City’s portion of cost. The equipment was purchased from Miracle Recreation Equipment Co. thru Hutchison Recreation & Design, Troy for a total project cost of $27,138.

Helping with installation was the following: Sonny and Aprile Taylor, Ronnie and Jo Ann Cordsiemon, Amy Lowe, Matthew and Emily, Don Slaughter, Don King, Steve Wilch, Terry Martin, Dean Tapley, Marshall Suddarth, David Davis, Tracy Hahn and Justin Womack representing Miracle Recreation Equipment Co.
