United Methodist Church to host blood drive

Elsberry United Methodist Church will be hosting anther life saving blood drive starting 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4.
The event will go until 6 p.m. inside the Fellowship Hall and they are asking for everyone to bring a valid photo ID. According to the American Red Cross, there doesn’t need to be a special reason to donate. While some donate simply because they were asked, others may donate because a friend or family member may be in need or because it’s just the right thing to do.
Whatever the reason, the need for blood is constant and people’s contributions are important for a healthy and reliable blood supply.
