Elsberry Lions Club plans big things for the community

The Elsberry Lions Club called their first meeting to order on Tuesday, April 30 by newly appointed President Myra Beauchamp.

The Lions held their meeting at 220 Love Lace Lane, in Elsberry, where they discussed ideas for their community project for Elsberry. Lion members then began the planning of their Charter Night Ceremonies, which is schedule for May 17, at the Methodist located at 109 North 4th Street.

Dignitaries from around the Multiple District -M3, as well as Lions from around the State of Missouri will be invited to this most prestigious ceremony to watch the induction the Elsberry Lions Club members and the instillation the Club Officers of the Elsberry Lions Club.

Members of the Elsberry Community are invited to attend the honorable ceremony along with their families. The cost of the dinner is $14 per person.

For those interested, there is still ample time to join and become a Charter member. One can only become a charter member during the initial organizational period and up until 90 days after the chartering of the club.
