Judge commits Troy man as Sexually Violent Predator

Attorney General Chris Koster said a Lincoln County judge has ordered that Clifford Bosworth, 41, be committed as a sexually violent predator.
Bosworth stipulated to being a sexually violent predator and has been committed to the Sex Offender Rehabilitation and Treatment Service in Farmington.  The judgment and commitment order was signed by Circuit Court Judge James Beck.
The Attorney General’s Office pursued the commitment of Bosworth as a sexually violent predator after he served an 8-year prison sentence for child molestation of two girls, ages five and six.
“It is critical that we keep those who could commit further violent sexual acts off the streets and away from those they could harm,” Koster said.  “It is important for individuals who are deemed sexually violent predators to get the help they need while the community is protected.”
