Joseph E. (Junior)  Cropper

Joseph E. Cropper died after a lengthy illness in Brownsville, TX, on Feb. 9, 2013 at the age of 74.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fern and Joe Cropper of Foley; three sisters, one brother, and one son. He is survived by his wife Bety; one son, Joseph D. Cropper of Monroe, GA; one grandson, Cody Cropper of Ipswich, England; one granddaughter, Ashley Cropper of Mesa, Arizona; two great grandsons, and one sister, Delores Cropper of St. Charles.

Mr. Cropper served in the U. S. Air Force for 20 years and upon retirement he worked for several different swimming pool companies. He retired December 2011 from Aloha Fiberglass Pools where he was responsible for their manufacturing facility in Union City, TN.

Interment of cremains was March 5, 2013, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis with full military honors. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Laura Caroline Keeteman of Old Monreo died Monday, Feb. 25, 2013 at the age of 91.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.

Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church in Old Monroe.
