NHS offers reduced admission for Senior Night
Sarah Brickey, National Honor Society, assists committee members during packaging of Operation Backpack supplies.
On Friday, Feb. 15, Elsberry basketball fans will be able to enjoy a few additions to the evening’s events.
As is typical, the Senior athletes who have participated during the basketball season will be honored for their contributions during the year.
Additionally, admission will be discounted in trade for charitable donations to National Honor Society’s Operation Backpack, a project that provides nutritious weekend food for low-income elementary students in our local school district. Members of the EHS Senate, the high school’s student-to-student communication organization, will collect mac-and-cheese in order to assist NHS with the success of the program.
Each box of macaroni-and-cheese dinner that is contributed will equal one dollar off admission. All mac-and-cheese collected on Friday, Feb. 15 will be used directly for young students enrolled in the OpBackpack program.
For further information, contact The EHS Senate sponsor, Miss Busiere (firstname.lastname@example.org).
