MoDOT to begin milling on Hwy 79

Weather permitting, Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 13 and 14, MoDOT crews will be milling portions of the driving surface on MO 79 in Clarksville and Winfield. Crews will be working on Wednesday in Clarksville and Thursday in Winfield at various locations where high areas of the existing pavement will be removed from the road to allow smoother travel.

“Traffic will be reduced to one lane from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. Please be alert for equipment entering and exiting the work zone. Motorists are urged to use caution and obey all road construction signs,” as stated in a press release sent out by MoDOT.
