From the corner of Broadway and Main Sreet
Parents out there, I have a great favor to ask. Please make your sons and daughters read this column. Employ what ever methods of coercion you need even if you have to turn a blind eye to the pile of laundry that is laying on the floor as their clean clothes reside strewn in the basket while the dresser is delightfully empty. Yes it is that important.
OK, kids (yes I know it is lame but if I refer to you as ladies and gentlemen you will think that I am still talking to your parents) are they gone? Very well, on behalf of your parents and grandparents I am sorry to inform you that we have used up all the fun. There is no fun left for you, we took it all. We didn’t expect this to happened, we only did what our parents did when they were your age (granted it was 60+/- years ago) but it is true that your grandparents were once your age and capable of having fun. But you will never be able to enjoy that experience, and it is also your fault. Come closer and I will explain.
