Clarence Cannon Elementary parking lot fills with ghosts, goblins and vendors

Cars and people filled the parking lot at Clarence Cannon Elementary on Wednesday, Oct. 31, as trunks opened displaying treats of chocolate, sugar filled candy and eerie displays of Halloween decorations.
It was the 10-year celebration of Trunk or Treat in Elsberry and it would seem as though once again it was a huge success. In year’s prior the event was coordinated by MaryAnn Meives, however, this year Elsberry would see some subtle changes. One big change was that the Elsberry FFA coordinated this year’s event. Another change would be the Haunted Maze instead of the Haunted Bus, which is something FFA Advisor Jason Vandivort said he hopes they can get back next year.
