With their season sitting at 7-13 and their final regular season game in eyesight, the Elsberry Indian Soccer team is looking to make some adjustments before heading into Districts.
The Indians played in the Mexico Tourney on Oct. 13 where they played Chillicothe; a team who is was 13-2 on the season. According to Indians Head Coach Dustin Robinson, Chillicothe got an early goal on a great cross before they spent the rest of the half playing a neutral game. Going into the second half down by two, Robinson said Ben Rhoades and Mason Cameron both had a couple good scoring opportunities but couldn’t capitalize. The second half was scoreless until about eight minutes to go in the game when Grant Black made a great save but Chillicothe was there to rebound and put the ball in the net.
