As the scariest day of the year gets ready to poke its ghostly head from around the dark corner, children from all over are deciding which Halloween character they want to be and parents are prepping to sort through bags of candy. But this year residents of Elsberry may notice a few subtle changes to past events, such as the annual Trunk or Treat celebration.

This year, for the first time ever, it will be put together by the Elsberry FFA and led by Elsberry FFA Advisor Jason Vandivort. This years Trunk or Treat will start at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 31 in the Clarence Cannon Elementary School parking lot and last until 7 p.m., weather permitting.
