The 12th annual Classics on Wheels Car Show presented the town with 72 entries and according to Elsberry Mayor Terry Martin was a complete success, despite the chilling weather.
This year’s event was chaired by Elsberry Kiwanis President Michael Short and sponsored by the City of Elsberry, the Elsberry Kiwanis Club, the Elsberry Masonic Lodge and VFW Post 9064.
“Although it was a tad bit chilly, I think the day was a huge success for all involved,” said Short. “We had a great turn out, a lot of really great looking cars and several individuals that went above and beyond to make sure everything fell into place.”
