IndianHawks vs Bobcats?
Yes even in high school, rivalry games can mean so much and Friday night a rivalry was renewed.
“The rivalry game against Bowling Green is always a big game for both teams. We told the players that Bowling Green is very big, but we knew our speed and effort could make up for their size mismatch,” said Head Coach Lynn Nutt.
If anyone asked Coach Nutt, he was say the IndianHawks had their best week of practice so far leading up to the Bobcats and it showed on the field with a 40-20 trouncing of Bowling Green.
“The intensity that we played with was very close to how we want to play every game, but just as we said earlier this season, everybody acknowledges that we still have work to do at every position to get better,” said Coach Nutt. “We have not met our goals yet, and we’re excited about where we are going.”
