Nothing less than perfect

As warm weather leaves and the fall feeling begins to spread across Elsberry, hunting and shooting sports, such as Trap Shooting, begin making big noise throughout the community. However, it would seem as though nobody was prepared for just how big this year would be for one local girl.
Myra Marty, a 17-year-old Senior from Elsberry High School, did what many thought impossible. She shot a perfect 25 in Fall Classic Trap Shoot Meet, making her the first Elsberry female to ever pull it off.
“In the first round I shot a 16 out of 25 and moved up from there,” Marty said. “The next round I shot a 23, then a 24 and finally I shot a 25.”
