Shown above is a snapshot of Kayla Moellman in the latest commercial for St. Charles Community College.

Kayla Moellman, of Elsberry, will be featured in a new TV commercial for St. Charles Community College that began appearing on cable TV in St. Charles, Lincoln and Warren counties this past week and will continue until July 15.

In addition to TV, her commercial will be one of the three ads in two Wehrenberg Cinemas (Mid Rivers and Town Square) from July 9 – Aug. 5 before each and every movie showing.

Kayla graduated from Winfield High School in 2010, where she was involved in volleyball, soccer, NHS and Student Council.

She is currently a student at SCC and works two part-time jobs at Wal-Mart and the Winfield Manor.

“I wanted to make sure I knew what I wanted to do before I went to a four-year university,” Moellman said. “St. Charles Community College is a great choice.”

In the fall, she plans on transferring to Maryville University to get her bachelor’s degree in nursing. She wants to be an ultrasound technician.

Established in 1986, St. Charles Community College is celebrating 25-years as a public, comprehensive two-year community college with associate degrees and certificate programs in the arts, business, sciences and career-technical fields. SCC provides workforce training and community-based personal and professional development as well as cultural, recreational and entertainment opportunities.
