On August 20, the Lincoln County Chapter of the American Bible Society will hold its 160th annual gathering.

The event will begin at 6:00 p.m. with a fellowship meal in the Mount Zion A.R. Presbyterian Church located at 861 Hwy. V.

The meal is scheduled to end at 7:00 p.m., at which time special music will be provided by Angela Winkelmeier and her parents, Rev. Bill and Brenda Maupin.

Bill, who is a retired pastor and a recent member of the New Hope Baptist Church, will also be the featured speaker for the evening.

Several other Lincoln County pastors are scheduled to participate in the worship service as well.

Following the service, Mrs. Linda Zellmer, this year’s American Bible Society President, will lead the business meeting.

All churches and their members are encouraged to attend.
